Getting into the Exhibition Hall 5
Use Highway exit „ Messe Leipzig“and then come to „ Messe Allee“Gate
South 1 „ Süd1“
Timetable:
The Entry into the Exhibition Area is only possible Friday June 1st 15°° to
19:30. Driving into the Hall is only possible in between 18°° and 19:30.
Entering the Hall is also possible Saturday Morning 7:30 to 8:15. Any earlier
or later arrival is not possible. The exit of the Hall on Saturday and Sunday
can not be before
18°°. As still visitors will be inside the Hall the cars have to be
pushed by hand to the gate. Those who leave the Hall Saturday evening need
to be back also on Sunday between 8:00
and 8:30.
At the
Gate“
Süd
1“ the official has a Name list which includes you and gathers access to the
area,
after passing
the
gate drive directly to Hall 5, Gate 5.6. There you can park the car for registration.
Register at the gate and enter the hall with your vehicle. You will be guided
to your place by an EMMA Authority. At the registration you will receive the
following information:
1. The Registration sticker which has to be placed at the windshield all the
time.
2. Competitors pass which gives you access to the Expo Area and Hall from 8°° in
the morning, per registered car we will give out a max of two passes.
3. A band for your arm which grants access to the Saturday evening Buffet and
drinks. Per car only one band is given out. Additional bands can be bought at
the EMMA info desk for 24 Euro
The competitors fee for all Classes is 25.- Euro and include a Ticket for the
Saturday Night Party (Early Birds only 10.- Euro)

Important regulations:
While entering the Hall a max. of 5 Litre gasoline is allowed inside
the vehicles tank.
Chargers have to be turned off during the night.
Any pavilion, flag or other advertisement has to be proofed and granted by
an EMMA official. Heavy noise will lead to an immediate disqualification from the event and could
also lead to a kick out of the Hall.
Timetable of the competition:
The judging procedure will start daily at 9:15 and will end at
18:30
Saturday all Experienced, Advanced, Master and Multi Media Categories
will be judged. Also ESPL Installation and the first measurement
will be done. According to the amount of participants in each category
it could be that we will start also with some Expert categories.
At 19:30 the party starts with a buffet and drinks which will be
available at the stage area. The end is 23°°
On Sunday all Master and Expert cars are going to be judged as
well as the ESPL measurements will be managed in front of the stage.
The final round for
ESPL
will be around 11. The ceremony is planned at 16°°. The cars can leave
the hall at 18°°.
Hints and Tips:
Around the fairground there are several car wash opportunities.
Please clean the cars before entering the area because inside only
polishing
is allowed. The
Expo has a direct connection by public transportation so there is no need to
use your own car.
Environmental zone Leipzig:
Since 1st of March 2011 Leipzig has an „environmental zone“. This
is a German rule which was made to reduce the car emissions in
Germany. The environmental
zone covers big parts of the city area of Leipzig. The environmental areas
are marked by special signs. You can only enter this area with
a green environmental
badge. Older cars will sometimes get a red or yellow environmental badge. With
red or yellow badges you are not allowed to enter the green environmental parts
of the city. Leipziger Messe as well as the airport have no environmental zones
and could be entered without badge.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you have a CO2 fire extinguisher available
please bring it with you. This is a safety regulation of Leipziger
